Returning to the name of the thread, I decided to beat Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen on the SNES again last night and I watched the credits. There really weren't that many people who worked on the game surprisingly enough. In fact only one person was listed as making the battle animations, and so many of the categories only had one or two names. Heck, there were about as many names for localization than the original game staff. I really never noticed before how few people actually worked on such a great game. It just goes to show that quality is better than quantity.

Quality is better than quality?

I meant quantity. I'm terrible at reading.

Dont hold your breath. But one would hope that one could say eventually.

As probably the most qualifed person to speak on the subject, I might as well make a statement.
Yes. But don't hold your breath untill atleast 2-3 years after Final Fantasy 12 is released.

By "probably the most qualified" do you mean "The only one who keeps track of where the Ogre Battle developer dude is schleppin' about these days"?

They didn't even offer? Even if you refuse, the game still counts it and Biske is lost to you.
Also, you might just not have a low enough Chaos Frame.

It seems every time I play I get the "bad" ending where everything gose to shit I'v plated it about six times at about 40 hours a piece which is 240 hours = 10 days

I just have a hard time being evil when I play it. Even if I'm trying to get the "bad" ending.

There isn't really being "Evil". It's all about whether you capture or liberate strongholds, which purely relies on whether or not you pay attention the your unit alignment.

Well, if you want to reach 0 Chaos frame quickly enough, you do need a couple of low alignment units for the high alignment towns. I personally find it hard to build low alignment units in Ogre Battle 64 because of the cost of training and the lack of enemies, but that's just me.

dosn't wether or not you have ogres/gorgons and stuff in your army matter?

Well, having demonic units can bring down the alignment of your little squadrons if memory serves. So sort of, roundabout, if you had all demonic units and thus all low ALI units it would be a bitch and a half to liberate everything and so your Chaos Frame would fall.
But no. Not really. It doesnt matter directly.

I dont remember all the specific things that make them a lower alignment except that im pretty sure if youre unit is of higher levels beating up on weak units that it goes down. I might be wrong but i seem to remember that it would happen a lot and i would get annoyed. I never was short of money because i would go back to maps and just have my guys go around long random routes and keep fighting monsters for the money. I definately feel the lack of enemies thing though. They really need to remake OB64, tweak it slightly, but leave it mostly the same in most aspects, and just add lots and lots of enemies and levels. That would be bomb. Especially if you could encounter units instead of just single monsters when you explore maps youve already beaten. Stuff like that. So its easier to do what you want with your units without having to use the item duplicator glitch.

See, the only way I was able to get money was by completing stages. Actually, it's been so long since I played the game that I don't remember being able to fight monsters for money. Anyway, it wasn't even until after I beaten the game and started throught it a second time that I found out about the item duplication trick then I looked at CyricZ's faq to understand how it worked.
But I think Ogre Battle 64 should be tweaked so that it's more like MotBQ. I want my 2-3 formation back! I want to actually have Goth to buy stuff. I want to be able to explore the rivers, to bring back the Water movement characters, and to be able to have more than one of the special classes (like the Princess). And I'd like it if some of the items like Altars of Resurrection, were sold in at least one regular store instead on the fifteenth day of the month or some mess like that.
