That is the funniest thing in Ogre Battle history. Congradulations Dio.
I still can't get Dio to leave me. I've reached that point in the game six different times, and he never leaves. I know I've tried multiple combinations. I want to see what happens.

Whatcha got against Dio? Hes the man.. man. Can you not just get rid of him like regular characters? I dunno, even if i didnt use them i would still usually keep special characters and put them in groups together or whatnot, and give them some equipment.

JIT, you have to lose Dio in order to get some characters such as Carth and Biske, and to get the special stage where you fight Dio as a dragoon.
That should have worked, blinky. I don't know what the problem could be. I'm pretty sure saying "..." is the most important thing, though. Maybe it has to do with whether or not you sent Magnus to personally rescue Yumil in the second mission though.

I've gotten Carth with Dio. I'm sure of it.

Yes, its possible. But risky to try. If a single Zenobian offers to join you, or Ankiseth, you can't get Biske and Carth. If you don't have Dio, they won't do it for sure.

Your sig is hillarious because Dio isn't even in Tactics.

In spirit he was, Blinky. Dio is pretty much a Vice clone anyway.
Aisha and Saradin join pretty early in the game, and you only need around a neutral chaos frame to get them. It's easily possible to have go for a low chaos frame but they join you anyway, since you haven't had enough time to work on it. And if they offer to join, you're chances of getting Biske and Carth are done for, even if you refuse them.

You know what I wish? I wish after playing through the game with both the "Good" and "Bad" routes, there was a way that you could actually get all the characters and a special ending. I understand part of the game is that you have to make tough choices, but to add replay value, why can't there be a "best of all possible worlds?"

Thats probably right Dio, im not too sure.
Nang yeah that would be a hell of a bonus. What i think would be even more swell is if you had even more customization type stuff. So not every single archmage looks like the other archmages. Then you could make your own unique characters and build them up to kick more ass than the other guys could. If only..

Thank you for clearing that up. I have to get back to my special people class now though. Ta.
On a serious note.. how did you know i wasnt talking about the original OB, that was for the SNES you know. I actually wasnt really referring to either though, i just meant any game at all, because ive yet to find one that has that level of customization, even in games where you dont have as many people as you end up with in OB. Like tactics games you have a much smaller cast but you still can only change so much. I want full customization damnit!

I have so many ideas for gameplay tweaks for an Ogre Battle sequel it's insane.
But there is problem with customization in tactics and strategy games. Without specialization there'd be less strategy and more of units being all the same and having the same basic skills. Heck, what I love about Ogre Battle is that it does give you customization, if not in the individual characters then in how you put the pieces of your units together.

Lets hear some of your tweaky ideas.
I do love how much customization you get, its far more than you get in the average game, im just saying if they took it to the next level no game could touch it. Just makes you wonder why these guys dont catch on to some of this stuff and make the same mistakes. I swear i could make a company so damn rich none of us would know what to do, if i were an idea guy for some game developer.

Given that I play video games, like a few action-packed cartoons and anime, used to LOVE wrestling, adore the Pittsburgh Steelers, and have a gender-neutral screen name, I don't expect anyone to think that I was male unless I tell them otherwise.
If you want me to start talking about my "feminine" side, I could mention the soaps or a rant on why I hate periods.

Not many guys ive ever come across put 'baby' in their names, kinda gives it away for me. Plus the fact that i have memory helps also.
Im sure i can imagine some of the reasons one would hate a period.
Personally i dont trust anything that bleeds for 5 days and doesnt die.

Not many people I'v ever come across put baby in their names. =p This leads me to believe that Nangbaby is, in fact, a robot. Perhaps a cyborg. Maybe android. Most certainly mechanical, however.

"Confusing Cyborgs and Androids is a common misconception".
