Man, I used to frequent this site all the time. I didn't have an account, and my main reason was just for OB64 info, but, I would check in on the forums every week or so. Then I stopped playing OB64 after beating it for the umpteenth time, and as such, ceased returning to this site. But I was still watching when the board died.
I have to say, it was quite creepy. It was as if all the posters had vanished. Dio left. Quetzacoatl left. Everyone just vanished, one by one. Anyways, it's been about a year since I last visited this site. And there was only one new post.

It just seems so surreal, to be here, posting. There is no one else here, so why bother.
This place, it is like an ancient temple, forgotten, yet it still exists. And to be here, it is... indescribable.

Holy shit, you are real!
Or maybe I actually have a psychological disorder which caused me to unconsciously create another account to keep me company.
Anyways, what brought you to this interweb equivalent of a ghost town?

I think the second option is more likely....you never know. Check your history and E-Mail to make sure...though, if your secret mental problem is any good, he'll hide it from you...
Maybe I'm like a vulture, something that feeds on something long dead...or a gang of teenagers, bumbling into a ghost town, only to find a mystery going on.
Or maybe I had saved the site on my Wii's favorites, had nothing to do, and came on the exact day you posted your stuff....

Well, I've been doing some checking on your ip, and unless my alter ego has a private jet, and a passport, there is no way you are one of my many and varied alternate personalities. So, that leaves only two questions left. One, why would you bother saving this webpage, and two, why do you have a Wii?

Well, you never can be to sure about that, have you check flight records and other evidence? Why not? I'm too lazy to actually do anything else... Because Wii's are awesome.....and you can't browse the web on an X-Box....besides, I didn't have a computer at the time, so I had to use that to get online. Well, maybe they're scared off by something, and that's why they wont come and join us. Did you shower recently? Now a question for you, why would you want to save this site?

*cough*PS3*cough*better*wheeze*
Just kidding, they're for different demographics, and can't really be compared as such. Anyways, I shower everyday, and I still go to this site ecause I'm a hardcore OB64 fan. I think it on par with LoZ:OoT and FFVII. However, I'm starting to look like a geek now, when I'm in fact a nerd, so let's push this topic in a different direction.

Damn, I'm doing a really bad job at checking here, hope you haven't left me all alone forever...
Okay, so...how may we push this in another direction? Do you want to wreak havoc on these forums? Should we chat about OB64, or should we plan on revival....or should we talk about video games? I'm up for all of them...

Well, I have considered hacking this site and using it for my own uses, but I do think that is illegal. And while a revival sounds fun, I'm afraid that there are a few problems with that. A. this game is old, and only has a small fan base now, die hard as is may be. B. what point is there to revival when we haven't had a new OB game in almost 10 years. The only way this would work is with.... a romhack. One problem with that though is that I've never heard of an N64 romhack.
Well, we could talk about more pressing real life issues. For example, I'm heading back to school in a 2 weeks and I still have no idea what I'm studying. I might just put my electives into computer sciences...
How is your education going?

You're not going to hack it as long as I'm around! Even though I don't have any real power or anything.
Yeah, this is awkward, ain't it?

You do realize hacking this site is as easy as using a brute force password hacker to commandeer an administrators account. I could do it in less than a minute. But like I said, it's illegal, and I don't want to be considered a black hat.
BTW, I looked into N64 romhacks, and there are some out there. But they're all terrible. Anyways, to make an Ogre Battle 64 hack, we would need an ASM hacking tool for the N64 (Easy to get, hard to use), and N64 hex editor (Easy to get, not too hard to use.), a graphics editor for Ogre Battle 64 (Currently there are none, so romhackers would need to program one.) a music editor (Not actually necessary, but a nice touch.), and one would need a knowledge of whatever programming language was used for this game. I estimate to create a good romhack based on the actual ogre battle series, one would need a lot of motivation, and about 1-2 years of time, if done at a casual pace with a team of 5.
While that would be a right pain in the ass, it would also be pretty damn cool, and a lot of people would be very happy.

Fine...real life stuff it is.
Well, I'm starting school in two weeks too, imagine that, and I know exactly what I am taking. For it, as I am smart, s-m-r-t. And all my electives went into....social studies..yay!
Hey.....Nangbaby. You were that one that posted that ogre battle was on VC...I was meaning to thank you...eventually, as I had given up on it coming out. Needless to say, I got it.
Back to non real life stuff...
Well, a hack would be quite cool, though I am totally unquilified to do it...unless it was gamemaker, then I could do it...
There is a crowd making March of the Black Queen hacks?

Well, I just got registered for school yesterday, and I'll be in AP English and Socials, and maybe AP Science, with Pure Mathematics. For Electives I've got French, Finances, and Concert Band. So, it's pretty much what I've been taking ever since I got into school. Still no idea where I'm heading, although I do have my eyes on one particular high school next year...
Anyways, yeah, there are a few OB: MotBQ hacks out there, but I haven't actually seen any ones with a new story or anything radically different. I also do not think I'm quite qualified to make an OB64 hack either, I've never even done ASM, and I'm not really an artistic type... unless you count music.

I'm a little late in my reply. You're welcome. Actually, I thought everyone knew about it by now.
Oh, no there's nothing that level of ROM hacking, although I am completely ignorant of the hacking scene. I have billions of ideas for stuff like that, but none of the skills or patience to actually do it, let alone the legality issues.

Damnit, the fucking board died again! Sorry, my fault, real life stuff and all, I haven't been able to get on. No, I've never played the game in question... Well, Nang, I know of it now, but I didn't know of it then....it was a delayed thank you. Hmm...classes....what did I get....History, Comp Civ, English, Math/Calculus, GEography. Due to....strange schedule issues, I should of had PE and law...but I didn't.

Ah, you are a year ahead of me.
Well, I'm taking English AP, Socials AP, Math AP, PE, French, Science, Accounting, Family and Civil Law, Music, and Career and Life Management. However, because I could not be scheduled for any CALM classes, I need to do it through correspondence, and I also have to take bloody Family Law. But all in all, it's good.
