I'm still going to buy one. I'd probably even buy one if it was called the Poop-choo.

I'm not going to buy one. For one, it reminds of that silly squirrel animation ("Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!"), and, I don't have the system it goes with. I like cords on my controllers, thanks.

I, for one, support this idea, and I will gladly buy one. I just can't wait till I can play with my Wii.
Yes, I've been making jokes like this for days.

... So you didn't like the wavebird?

The thought of a wireless controller just bothers me; makes me think of an unreliable piece of crap. And, I personally have never owned a handheld game system. My brother had a Game Gear when he still lived with us, but I never played it, and he took it with him when he moved out. I'm against them - I just don't see the big deal about them.

Back in the day, we got a Genesis wireless that needed to be perfectly level to the system to work. About 7 (?) years later, I cautiously bought a Wavebird, and it worked as well as a standard controller from over 20 feet away. Yesterday, I went to my friend's house and we played The Outfit on Xbox 360. Their controllers worked fine as well. I have no doubts that the controller will be more than serviceable. In fact, I hear the remote can register spin and slice on a tennis swing, and that's got to be the most exciting news I've heard about it so far.

Once again, I fail at typing. I meant to put "not against". -_- Still, amazing, you can play a video game wherever you go. Goin' on a long road trip? Good for you. I'd rather just listen to my CD player.
Also, comparing it to a wireless mouse does nothing for me. The ones a couple of my teachers use are pieces of crap - they don't work half the time.
I really don't see the point of having a wireless controller in the first place, anyway. Big whoop, you can play from 20 feet away. What are you doing 20 feet away in the first place? Can you even see the screen clearly from there, especially if it's a small TV? Surely you can stop playing your game for a full minute or two to go pee. Plus, having to swing the controller to make a sword or tennis racket swing could be pretty dangerous. "Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to smack you upside the head and break your nose! I was trying to attack the monster on my screen!"
As to the clutter, is it that hard to just rubber band the cords into a loop when you store them? I've got probably 10 controllers in a small box, and they're not cluttered at all. It's like a few long lengths of string - if you just throw them all over the place, yeah, they're going to get tangled. If you actually wind them up and secure them, they almost never get tangled.
I must say, though, after reading an article about it, it could be interesting. I may give it a chance after it comes out and we can actually see what it can do. For now, though, I'm still extremely skeptical.

As to the clutter, is it that hard to just rubber band the cords into a loop when you store them? Are you kidding me? Of COURSE thats too hard. In fact, when I'm done playing I just drop my controller where I am. When you have 4 systems set up, and each one has 2-4 controllers, that makes for quite a mess.
And OF COURSE I'm too lazy to fix that. Enter wireless!

I came here to tell Arc to go buy a damn Wii when it comes out. It's Nintendo for crying out loud. They don't make crap (never mind the Virtual Boy, that doesn't count). =p

Square-Enix is making a Dragon Warrior game for it, plus there will be a Fire Emblem game for it. AND ZELDA. Zelda, damn it. Well, it's coming out on GC too, but still. Metroid Prime: Corruption! Red Steel! SUPER SMASH BROTHERS BRAWL! I'm going to kill myself with anticipation.
